If these photos were any indication, he was there decked out in a $355 Givenchy Tartan Spread Collar Plaid Shirt and an array of accessories, including a gold grill. If he's wearing flannel to fit in, we think there's more appropriate attire.

He supports the cause, but whats he supposed to do, go out and buy cheap clothes? He wears expensive shit, he has the money to do so. Is he supposed to hoard his money and hold onto it like these bankers that they are protesting against do? He just showed up in his normal clothing. Not a big deal. You guys and The Fader have both put out articles making it seem like its wrong to wear what he wears. He was probably taking care of other business, making an appearance somewhere else before/after this and stopped by. Yeah its a little awkward for this occasion, but thats the clothes he wears. Nothing wrong with that.

Wearing expensive clothes has nothing to do with thinking that the whole financial world went out of control. I don't think is a nonsense. Displaying the fact like this has two results: one is to depict in a bad way the protestors, the other one is to display Kanye West as a fool - and he's not. I know it even though I'm not a fan of his music.

I have to agree with "Edwina". I'm pretty sure Kanye has no idea how much this Givenchy shirt cost. He pays people to style him and I'm sure they all have Black AMEX cards.

If Kanye is not in the one-percent I'm sure he's pretty close to it. He should have a little sensitivity to what the people at OWS are trying to say. He could have just worn a plain white t-shirt. And left the necklace at home...or with his driver. What I'd like to see from him, Sean Combs, Jay-Z, Russell Simmons, and the rest of them is a little philanthropy.

Oh come on, like it's a secret Kanye West is loaded? Like if he wore a $35 shirt, he'd be middle class? Just give the man credit for his support and move on. Or how about asking him if he's on board to pay higher taxes?
