New York's "Art in the Parks" program has cooperated with Marlborough gallery to bring Spanish artist Miquel Barcelo's "Gran Elefandret" to Union Square. Measuring just under 9 meters tall, this mamouth bronze stands just east of the park on 14th street. A remarkable feat of engineering. The sculpture will be on view through May 2012. [Designboom]
