Specualtion that Nike will buy Under Armour has been circulating for years, but finally there is some reason to believe that it may actually happen soon. According to The London Times, Nike is said to be considering an offer. Maybe that's why Under Armour's stock went up 7% yesterday (thanks to Darren Rovell's Twitter for the tip). UA has already been stepping up its footwear game, but there is no telling what this acquisition could lead to. Probably just a whole lot more dollers for the Swoosh.
