Founded in 1961 by Sandro Zara, Barena could be called one of Italy's heritage brands. Using only the finest fabrics, they continuously produce some of the best-quality garments. Given their dedication to detail, it's not surprising that they'd be tapped by Nepenthes to do a capsule collection.

The selection of neutral-colored knits and blazers seems to be a subtle fusion of Barena's Italian tailoring that nods towards Nepenthes' penchant for a workwear aesthetic. Double-breasted sweaters pair nicely with unlined herringbone blazers and toggle cardigans with a shawl collar. We're certainly excited to see everything in person once it drops in the Nepenthes New York store.
