We recently showed you how the U.S. is using cigarette package design to discourage smoking, but these two U.K. design grads are taking this concept a bit further down the "disturbing" path. Jennifer Noon and Sarah Shaw weren't satisfied with the U.K.'s proposal for plain cigarette packages, so the two designers changed a few things: the shape of their packages makes fitting one in your pocket more difficult than before, and in addition to text warning labels, the deisgners put images that would "appeal to consumers' vanity" as descouragement, such as vivid photos of yellow fingernails, wrinkles and tooth decay.
