“I’ve been designing Mark McNairy New Amsterdam for three years. The restraints of the ‘Ivy League’ and my work at J.Press were driving me crazy, and while I love them both, it was stifling "I became the Creative Director of Woolrich Woolen Mills because Jesus was not available, so they chose me."my creativity. To be quite honest, I don’t design for a particular guy, I am really just making things for myself. When I see someone in the streets in one of my shirts, a pair of digi-camo pants, or rocking a pair of my shoes, I get chills up and down my spine. I stole that last line from Debarge. After collaborating with Spiewak, Bass Weejuns, and Pro-Keds, the next collaboration to expect is with BAPE, and a few others that are top secret.”
