Seattle-based retailer Nordstrom's presence in New York was limited to one of their Nordstrom Rack liquidation stores in Union Square. On Friday, the company doubled its presence in the Big Apple with the opening of a new concept store: Treasure & Bond. Part of the concept is that 100% of the new store's profits will go to charity.

All of the proceeds from purchases will go toward two different charities per quarter, from August to October the beneficiaries will be The New York Public Library Programs for Children and Young Adults and The Achievement Gap Project. Two new charities will be chosen in November.

Expect to find brands like James Perse,Levi's Made & Crafted, Rogan, Stone Island, Creep, Vince, and similarly-priced labels that aren't necessarily cheap, ensuring your donation to the aforementioned charities is a sizable one. For a full list of brands carried, check Treasure & Bond.
