One of New York City's original tattoo artist, Marcus Kuhn, has started a new venture by putting together The Gypsy Gentleman, a tattoo and travel magazine. The first episode focusses on NYC and tattoo artists Thomas Hooper and Virginia Elwood. This new video magazine profiles each city and showcase a cool spot (i.e. a record store that sells coffee and antiques, or an Italian shoe maker in Buenos Aires that has been there for a 100 years, or a sumi shop in Kyoto that has been there 500 years) as well as the tattoo culture in the area. It's definitely got us itching for new ink, and new stamps for our passports. [The Gypsy Gentleman]
