There's something to be said for heritage footwear styles that are crafted in the USA, inspired by timeless original designs and built to last an eternity. And in the case of the new Stumptown Series of boots from Portland, Oregon's very own, Danner, there's a lot to be said.
Danner's been stitching and soling hardcore boots for loggers, hikers and Marines since 1932, and this year the brand is embarking on a new venture. The Stumptown series of boots is made using some of the same styles that Danner is famous for, but flips them with different fabrics and materials to give them a fresh, modern twist. Check out the first five styles from the collection (available now at the awesome new Danner Factory Story in Portland) and look for more to drop later this summer and fall. Prices range from $310-$330—but trust, they will outlast anything you can get cheaper.
