In a world of overnight fame and egomaniac celebrities, it's refreshing to know there are certain artists who give back. Banksy made a huge donation to MoCA to make the increasingly-popular "Art in the Streets" exhibit free every Monday throughout the summer. "Art in the Streets",which features works by some of of the most authoritative writers and artists including Shepard Fairey, Revok, Banksy and others, usually costs $10  and has been gaining record attendance for the museum. MoCA Director and exhibition co-curator Jeffrey Deitch called Banksy's move an "unprecedented donation," and predicts this will bring in even larger and more diverse crowds who may have never been to the museum before.

"I don't think you should have to pay to look at graffiti," Banksy said in a statement. "You should only pay if you want to get rid of it." At this rate, we're pretty sure poeple will be flocking to see more. []
