The man responsible for the immaculate suit that your favorite brand ripped off has finally decided to call it quits. French designer, Pierre Cardin told WSJ “I want to sell it now. I know I won’t be here in a few years and the business needs to continue.” Well, damn! Guess there's no easier way to put it. Cardin also mentioned that he'd like to stay on as Creative Director which is probably why normal bidders like LVMH and PPR have not jumped at the idea. Others say that he's priced it too high (one billion euros or 1.46 billion U.S. dollars), so we guess we'll just have to see how this plays out.
