New York artist David Benjamin Sherry opens a solo show this Saturday, April 30th at OHWOW in Los Angeles, the second exhibition at the West Coast outpost of the NY/Miami art collective. Sherry is a photographer who does his art in the darkroom, using technical processes to push his work into the ethereal, and this show is a mix of both color prints and photographic collages. Sherry looks at geometric formations and math phenomena in nature, a series that will be juxtaposed with a series of sculpture photographs. The work looks pretty sick, and will be on display until May 27th if you're walking the streets of L.A. any time soon. Click on the thumbnails to see some of the work, and the magnifying glasses to see it bigger. [OHWOW]
