As we all wrap our heads around the events that unfolded in Japan, companies and celebrities like Lady Gaga are doing their part to help. Another one to add to the list is Japanese retailer UNIQLO—the company will be donating a sizeable amount in the form of cash and clothing.

CEO Tadashi Yanai will be making a personal contribution out of his own pockets totaling $12 million. Clothing donations will also be made with some coming from UNIQLO’s HeatTech campaign. These two contributions are part of the approximate $17 million in cash and $8.6 million in clothing of the total donation. It gives comfort to know that more help is on the way. To read more on the breakdown of the donations read UNIQLO’s press release.
