German Expressionism: The Graphic Impulse opens at the Museum of Modern Art this Friday, March 25th. This printmaking survey is basically a history of great modern graphic design, featuring work by Otto Dix, Egon Schiele,

and Emil Nolde. Expressionist-era Germany was influenced by a heightened sense of

mortality in the early 20th century, and has been a huge influence on many of our favorite street and tattoo artists

of today. The show is on display until July 11th. [MOMA]
