Neil Lefier has been

shooting Sports Illustrated covers since the 1960s, and he's captured many

of the most iconic images in sports history. His new exhibition in Dallas, For the Love of the Game,

is a lament for a time when game day was actually about the game,

not endorsements, contracts, half-time shows, dick shots, and foot fetishes. This show of

classic work he did on assignment for the magazine is a reminder that when you strip

away all of the bullshit, the game is still a beautiful thing. Check out our

preview of the show, and if you're in Dallas for some sporty reason this weekend, stop by to see the exhibit. It's up until March 26 at Photos Do Not Bend Gallery. [PDNB]
