Sneaker designers aren't the only ones into mashing up classics. The "Masters Chair" is a collaboration between Phillippe Starck (noted badass designer responsible for the Ghost Chair) and Eugenie Quitlett combining the lines of three contemporary masterpieces. In a single chair, bits of Arne Jacobsen's Series 7 Chair, Eero Saarinen's Tulip Armchair, and Charles Eames' Eiffel Chair mingle in harmony. At $244 it's not a bad way to start, and it gives you quite a lot of name recognition for your buck. Buy it through the Moma Store.
