Heavily influenced by animals like wolves, snakes, and lumberjacks, Species by the Thousands is a Brooklyn-based graphic design company that creates illustrations, accessories, and jewelry. Its t-shirts and sweatshirts are designed around drawing and painting techniques in favor of digi-perfection, and their designs take on a rustic and illustrative look. In the case of their bearded man, the project comes forth reminiscent of a creepy 1970s children’s cartoon or a character from The Mighty Boosh. Either way, it all looks good. Check out their work over at the company site. [Species by the Thousands]
