Looks like the "dress like an old British chap" trend is not dying anytime soon. J. Crew has teamed up with Barbour to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Distressed International Jacket by offering a special edition of the classic worn by the British Royal Army and cool guys all around. This waxed cotton jacket also features a pretty sizable Union Jack on the shoulder to represent its British roots.
Obvi, this exclusive jacket (there's only 75 being sold—one for every year it's been in existence) is kinda awesome but what do you think of repping flags that have NOTHING to do with your country of origin? Is it a simple decorative motif or is it akin to wearing a sports team you don't even root for? We wanna know!

Not my thing personally, but the styling of it is on point. It fits the jacket and reasoning of the jacket very well.

"repping flags that have NOTHING to do with your country of origin" Our countries have an entwined history and pretty ongoing relationship you fuck. That little holiday you have on the 4th isnt named after a movie, and there's a reason why rubbish you type and undoubtedly talk is called English.

Is this an american site? Yes. Majority of people who visit it? American. Besides, the british empire had a finger in the majority of the worlds history. So quiet now, and keep typing in english and i'll keep being right.

I wouldn't mind a UK flag since our history is connected. However, I'm not gonna be wearing something with some other flag that has nothing to do with me.
