Artist: Todd McFarlane
Publisher: Marvel
Year: 1990
NYC's favorite webcrawler was redesigned by Todd McFarlane, who added thicker, more cable-like web shots while sharpening his eyes (um basically throwing a ton more kohl eyeliner around Parker's eyes but in a RAD way) and contorting Spidey's poses until he resembled the agile dude from Queens that he is. The revamp sold over 2 million copies with a sick set of alternate covers, setting a record-breaking title that stands as the bestseller for the Astoria arachnid.

Absurd list, really, really awful. How so many characters that rip-off Batman's look but are somehow listed way ahead of him on this list is beyond me. You guys are terrible.

Pretty sad list. Superman, storm, juggernaut, psylocke, catwoman, tons more better than half that list...
