Tomorrow night, Scott Campbell opens his first show in New York City, a series of work that includes new sculpture, paintings, and drawings from the Brooklyn-based tattoo artist. His new work includes a series of laser cut bills, stacked high to create awesome 3-D reliefs that relate back to his original tattoo style that has appeared on both under and above-ground celebrities that range from Marc Jacobs to Josh Hartnett and Helena Christensen. If you know anything about Scott Campbell, you know his first NY show is going to be dope. If you don't know anything about Scott Campbell, now is the time to see his work. Scott has been killing it, and this show is going to be a banger.
The opening reception for "If You Don't Belong, Don't Be Long" opens Thursday, April 29, from 6 - 8pm at 109 Crosby Street (between Prince and Houston) in New York. Hit the jump for an exclusive look at work from the show.
