WHY WE CO-SIGN: Even if his clothing wasn't official, Grahame Fowler is the type of a designer we would mess with strictly based on his fashion industry resume, which includes names like Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, and Yves Saint Laurent. Couple that with his super-dope, handmade menswear line characterized by relaxed silhouettes, impeccable attention to detail, and use of fine fabrics, and we're officially on full-time jock mode.
We've been pushing you guys to get a little more dressed up for a minute, and Grahame's classic-with-a-touch-of-modern pieces will really help anyone neatly balance their look between casual and formal. Complex: How would you describe your Spring '10 collection?
Grahame: A range of unlined three-button washed suits made from high-density Japanese twill weave fabric, two-ply 80's and 100's Italian shirtings, and the introduction of women's shirtings.
Complex: What's your favorite piece in the collection?
Grahame: "Edward". A double-breasted, six-button, twin-vent, high-break, military-inspired jacket. Constructed in a soft twill weave 100% waterproof wool. Inspired by the 1930s' English naval officers jacket as worn by Lord L Mountbatten.

Complex: What was the first designer item you bought or wore?
Grahame: Levi's 501 button-fly jeans that I had to travel down to London to purchase. It was required attire for the 1969 twisted wheel soul club.Â
Complex: Any anticipated collaborations in the near future?
Grahame: Outerwear UK project/Motorcycle/Scooter "Authentic" jackets and outerwear. My continued  commitment to the TICT (Textile Workers Children's Charity) in the U.K. through the manufacture and sale of my "Goodwill Bears."
