WHY WE CO SIGN: Despite the name, dress shoes shouldn't automatically be thought of as formal footwear. Now more than ever, hard bottoms have moved more into the casual and street wear world. So as we said before when we told you how to buy 'em, if you haven't already, it's time to start incorporating some grown-up shoes into your repertoire. A good brand to start with is Rachel Comey footwear. Before she got into women's wear, Comey found fame with her mens footwear line that was inspired by the "young music scene in New York." Her newest collection features her signature handcrafted oxfords as well as spins on everyday classics like moccasins, and desert boots. Basically all the staple footwear pieces. The prices are a bit steep, but we guarantee you'll get more wear out of them than your Yeezy's.

Complex: What styles can we anticipate for the Fall/Winter 2009 season?
Rachel Comey: With the onset of colder weather, we'll start to see less in the way of thin cotton shirts and shorts, and more jackets and trousers. I'm predicting that by Thanksgiving we'll start to see more scarves and gloves on men and, moving in to the Holiday season, even thicker, warmer jackets and possibly the occasional wool hat.
Complex: What do you believe are the 5 must haves every man should have in their closet?
Rachel Comey: Lots of white T-Shirts, a suit well-tailored in the shoulder especially, cashmere sweaters (avoid turtleneck ones until age 45), Maggie's organic tie-dye socks, and Rachel Comey brown leather oxfords.
Complex: In your opinion, what styles and trends will we see in menswear in 5 years?
Rachel Comey: I think that we will continue to see much more of the same as we have seen since about 1960. Which is: subtle variations on classic pieces (i.e. the narrowing and widening of pant legs, the shortening and lengthening of zipper rises, etc.). I'm thinking denim will definitely be pretty important in 2015.
