Hat and gloves are neccessities, but a scarf can make all the difference when you're looking to stay warm in brick conditions. As important as it is to keep your body temperature above freezing, it's just as important to not look like a fool when you attempt to tie the ensemble make-or-breaker. Luckily for you, we've mapped out five different ways for you to rock your scarf the right way. Read below for tips on how to put other city slickers to shame when it comes to protecting your neck.
THE DANDY
STEP 1: Hang scarf around your neck equally on each side.

STEP 2: Cross both sides.

STEP 3: Bring both of the ends towards the back of the neck.

THE CLASSIC
STEP 1: Hang the scarf allowing one end to be longer than the other.

STEP 2: Take the longer end and bring it around your neck and let it fall onto your chest.

THE EURO
STEP 1: Hang the scarf allowing one end to be longer than the other.

STEP 2: Take the longer end and bring it half way around your neck.

STEP 3: Take the longer end and tuck it into the scarf.

STEP 4: Gently pull down.

THE CHOKE
STEP 1: Bring the ends of the scarf together, creating a hoop.

STEP 2: Let the scarf hang around your neck with the hoop on one side of the shoulder.

STEP 3: Take the other end and pass it through the hoop.

STEP 4: Tighten the loop to complete the look.

THE OVER-UNDER
STEP 1: Hang the scarf allowing one end to be longer than the other.

STEP 2: Take the longer end and bring it around your neck.

STEP 3: Take the longer end and pass it under and over the other ed forming a hole.

STEP 4: Take the longer end and form a knot. Now, adjust both sides facing forward.
