Why NFL Fans Are Convinced Dez Bryant Has a Burner Account

Dez Bryant's dreadful 2018 offseason just got even worse, and he still hasn't found a team willing to offer him a contract he'll actually sign.

It seems another professional athlete has stepped in it by unintentionally revealing a possible burner account on Twitter. This time it's Dez Bryant, the bellicose wide receiver still unemployed and not doing himself any favors with a recent social media storm. That trend may have continued when he apparently outed himself as having a burner account after inadvertently responding to a tweet with his real account during conversation with Stephen A. Smith:

@DezBryant Deleted tweet. Guess we know it's a burner account. pic.twitter.com/ykIQV7YLnC

Now, you can definitely quote-tweet yourself like many in the mentions say, but he kinda confirmed it by deleting the tweet––thereby digging a deeper Twitter grave:

Add 'the internet' to the growing list of things Dez can't outrun.

This obviously provoked some biting quips from the hivemind on twitter dot com:

You mean to tell me Dez Bryant is a mental midget like KD and had a burner? pic.twitter.com/IBUpGEVbDQ

Can't even get open on Twitter. Wow.

A couple of puns were fun:

Dez doesn't know what to do with himself during football season, so hopefully he signs somewhere soon.
