Stephen Curry Is No Fan Of People Disrespecting LeBron James' Teammates

Stephen Curry doesn't care for the crowd that says LeBron has no help.

Dating back to his first stint with the Cavaliers, it has always been trendy to say that LeBron James has no help, at least when he's been in Cleveland. While it's common to hear that at pretty much any point the Cavs lay a turd, it multiplies by about ten come playoff time. Expect to hear it many times during the NBA Finals. I mean, by now you know the drill.

While it's a common storyline that's been established by both Twitter and national media alike (seriously, how many times did Jeff Van Gundy bring it up yesterday?), frequent NBA Finals LeBron adversary Stephen Curry is no fan of it. He said as much before his own Game 7 on Monday afternoon:

"I hate when people say that," Curry said. “They’re NBA players, and yeah they’re new and whatnot, and Bron’s amazing, he played an unbelievable playoff run to date and just willed his team to his eighth straight Finals. It’s unbelievable to think about the consistency and longevity and the level of greatness he has shown in the Eastern Conference.

“Shoutout to him, it was an amazing performance, but don’t disrespect the other guys out there. They fought hard too."

Just a hunch, something tells me this won't change the narrative.
