The NFL Draft is a fun event to watch, but it's also long and arduous. You've got to be a real football nerd to enjoy it. Accordingly, it's always appreciated when teams do something unusual to spice it up.

The latest interesting idea: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will use a parrot to announce their picks in this year's draft. That's right—a parrot. Her name is Zsa Zsa. Don't ask us how to pronounce that. The bird will deliver the picks to an announcer at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay.

Important Bucs draft update: The parrot delivering Sunday’s picks to pirate ship at Raymond James is named Zsa Zsa, and she’s from the Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary. Adjust your mock drafts accordingly.

Naturally, fans had three different reactions: either, This is stupidThis is awesome, or Of course the Bucs would do this.

You: The draft has become ridiculous, overhyped and gimmicky

The Bucs trading up in the the draft to draft a parrot is more understandable than a kicker

It's all fun and games until the parrot leaks the Bucs draft picks to Adam Schefter
Having a parrot announce your draft pick on Day 3 > having a human announce you've taken a kicker on Day 2.
