Anthony Joshua just landed another world title – but this time he didn't do it alone.
Yesterday, he helped Lucozade Sport Fitwater and over 500 members of the public smash a new Guinness World Record for the 'largest Boxercise lesson' of all time. Anthony Joshua is one of the official ambassadors for Lucozade Sport Fitwater, a new functional water packed full of electrolytes, which is specifically made for sports hydration.
Parterning up with Fitwater and Boxercise, the Heavyweight World Champion of the World put 541 participants from across the UK through their paces, as part of Lucozade Sport's commitment to get 1,000,000 people moving more by 2020.
AJ also showcased a host of his own combative and defensive boxing moves to his fans in front of 10 chaperones, who stringently ran the rule over every single participant to they all achieved World Record success.
Joshua was delighted to break the record with members of the local community. After adding another world title to his ever-expanding list, he said:
“It’s been really exciting to be part of setting a new Guinness World Records title with Fitwater. To get over 500 people taking part in something I’m passionate about is amazing. I hope our World Record success inspires more people to get moving and involved in Boxercise.”
AJ really is the people's champion.
