DeAndre Jordan added his name to the growing list of NBA players who are publicly telling the NCAA to pay college athletes. LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony made similar statements just last week.
Jordan finally chimed in when he was confronted by a TMZ cameraman who ambushed questioned him as he exited a Los Angeles restaurant this past weekend. After initially ducking queries about Rick Ross's hospitalization, and whether or not Doc Rivers should win NBA Coach of the Year, Jordan was asked about giving money to NCAA athletes.
Though the Los Angeles Clippers center was clearly not enthusiastic about the abrasive interview format, he decided to answer nonetheless, telling the cameraman that college athletes should make "over minimum wage."
Though that's not quite as formal as either LeBron or Carmelo's more elaborated answers (which they were decidedly more prepared for) it's there if you need it.
