Every year, hundreds of gifted, celebrated sports reporters head to the Super Bowl—America's biggest sporting event—to capture the story and relay it to fans. In this group of demigods, one reporter always manages to stand out from the pack: Guillermo Rodriguez, the Jimmy Kimmel Live mainstay.

The show sends Guillermo out to many of the biggest cultural events each year, including awards shows like the Grammys and Oscars and colossal sporting events such as the NBA Finals and Super Bowl. The lighthearted 47-year-old has a propensity for asking hilarious questions; it provides a fun break from all the serious reporting that's going on.

Guillermo made his trip to the Super Bowl's Media Day Monday, and his performance was—as expected—sensational. He cracked jokes with Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Eagles coach Doug Pederson and asked hilarious questions of players such as Philadelphia receiver Alshon Jeffery and New England receiver Danny Amendola.

At this point, the players recognize Guillermo.

"You're back, you're back another year," Tom Brady said when he spotted Guillermo, who asked him a question about how to whiten his teeth.

But when Guillermo had the chance to interview Eagles running back LeGarrette Blount, things got weird. He asked Blount, "Your name is Blount. So when people tackle you, are they hitting the blunt?"

Blount, who was arrested for marijuana possession in 2014, wisely side-stepped the question.

"I don't know what that means," Blount said, before laughing and walking away.

"He's not feeling me at all," Guillermo said with a smile.

Philadelphia's Jalen Mills also avoided the question when Guillermo asked, "Do you ever smoke Blount?"

"That's a double technical foul," Mills said.

‘Do you ever smoke Blount?’

Yup. It’s media day... 😬 pic.twitter.com/VcQLCSeC3v

These players are media trained. It's hard to imagine that any of them would give in to the bait of a weed question. Still, it's fun to see them joke around with Guillermo.

Check out the full video of Guillermo's reporting above. The Blount part takes place at around the 2:30 mark.
