The Cleveland Cavaliers will look like an entirely different team when they face off against the Boston Celtics on Sunday (Feb. 11) after going through a roster overhaul prior to the trade deadline. The Cavaliers shipped off six players, including Isaiah Thomas and Dwayne Wade, in exchange for George Hill, Rodney Hill, Larry Nance Jr., and Jordan Clarkson in two separate deals.
With so many new faces coming to the Cavaliers, LeBron James will once again turn to NBA 2K to see how this new roster will shake out. "No, I haven't. But I did bring my game console, and I will get it set up in Boston, get the updated rosters, and see how it translates," he said. "I will get that going, for sure."
Back in December, LeBron said he used NBA 2K to see how Thomas would fare with the Cavs before his return from hip surgery. "I play a lot of 2K," he said. "Seriously, I’ve said this before. I play a lot of NBA 2K, and it’s the most realistic game, basketball game, that you can ever play. I mix and match a lot of lineup changes, things of that nature, to see how we can be really good. It’s pretty good."
As it turned out, LeBron's NBA 2K didn't accurately forewarn him about the failed experiment with IT. So maybe James shouldn't take what he learns from this game to heart.
