According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski the Milwaukee Bucks have fired their coach, Jason Kidd.
In the meantime, assistant coach Joe Prunty will serve as the team's interim coach:
The Bucks are currently 23-22, which is good for 8th place in the Eastern Conference. In addition to that lackluster showing, Kidd reportedly "frayed relationships" within the organization:
Since being traded to Milwaukee from Brooklyn for two second-round picks, Kidd was 160-168 and had helped lead his young squads to the playoffs twice (in 2015 and 2017) where they were eliminated in the first round.
