On Thursday night, Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch got ejected in the 2nd quarter of Oakland's 31-30 win over the Chiefs. It looked like he ran onto the field to defend his quarterback, Derek Carr, though he also could have been defending opponent Marcus Peters, who is a very close friend of his. In the process of doing that, Lynch put his hands on an official, which earned him the boot:
While it's somewhat unclear what most people do when they're ejected from a ballgame (I guess I never really thought about it), they sure as shit rarely go watch the rest of the contest in the stands with the fans. Nevertheless, that's exactly what Lynch did Thursday night. Here's a tweet plus proof:
Following the Raiders' win, which wrapped up after an insane ending sequence to cap an 85-yard, last-second, game-clinching drive, Lynch returned to the locker room to congratulate his teammates.
However, after that, he and Peters (both Oakland natives) probably surprised the hell out of passengers by taking the BART train home/somewhere, because—as you can see—they took it home/somewhere, too:
Additionally, Lynch also participated in a "Fuck the Chiefs" chant, which some might argue is exactly what Derek Carr and Amari Cooper did:
Damn. Pretty eventful night for someone who otherwise had nine yards on two carries.
