The Giants have been having a very bad season.

The New York Giants are most likely done this year. They're one of three teams in the NFL that have yet to win a game this season, and the team was dealt another tough blow on Sunday. Following their 27-22 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, the Giants' wide receiving corps is decimated with injuries to Odell Beckham Jr., Sterling Shepherd, Brandon Marshall, and Dwayne Harris.

With Beckham Jr. already out for the remainder of the year and Shepherd looking at two weeks out of action, the organization will need some additional wideouts for their Sunday night showdown with the Denver Broncos next weekend. So, what about entertaining the idea of signing Chad Johnson and Terrell Owens?

Owens sent out a not-so-subtle tweet to the Giants' Twitter account.

Johnson took a more subtle approach.

Sure, Johnson and Owens are 39 and 43 years old, respectively, but Giants fans aren't going to be coming to MetLife Stadium to see guys like Roger Lewis and some random practice team players hauling in passes for a team going nowhere.

If the Giants want to get people in the seats during home games, they may want to think about doing something a little outside of the box. If that means signing two wideouts who are probably past their prime, then so be it. After all, the Giants are already happily playing a quarterback past his prime in Eli Manning, so what's the big deal, right?
