Earlier this month, news that professional wrestling legend Ric Flair was in a medically-induced coma shook the world of wrestling fans as well as those who just grew up loving his grandiose personality. We really shouldn't have tripped so hard, though. Flair not only survived a plane crash in 1975, but he's also been struck by lightning and lived to cut a promo about it.

Still, news of Flair's condition improving is much welcomed, and based on a tweet that went out on his official Twitter account on Tuesday, it sounds like he's determined to get back to 100 percent Nature Boy excellence.

Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been, to stand up taller than you ever were. Naitch WILL be back! 🙏 pic.twitter.com/v9YbIEykt9

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Flair's daughter Charlotte called Ric's improvement a "miracle." He also mentioned Flair is "doing better," although he's got "a long way to go." Meltzer said Flair's not bedridden and is "out of the water" in regards to the issues that caused him to be hospitalized in the first place.

Flair's fiancee Wendy Barlow also commented on Flair's condition, saying that Flair is "doing very well for a Man who has been through so much! He will begin Physical Therapy shortly and will be stronger than ever and back out enjoying all the fans sooner than you would think."

There's no word on how long Flair's road to recovery will be, but if he's as determined as he sounds, don't be surprised if we see the Nature Boy stylin' and profilin' on WWE TV in the future.
