There was more going on during Tiger Woods' recent DUI arrest than we suspected. A new, unredacted version of the police report, just discovered by the Golf Channel, shows that Woods told officers at the scene that he was taking Xanax.

In the report, Officer Christopher Fandry writes, "I asked Woods if he had taken any medication to which he stated 'Xanax.'" When combined with the golf legend's later admission that he was on, among other medications, Vicodin, his behavior at the scene starts to make sense.

According to the FDA, combining Xanax with Vicodin can lead to "profound sedation, respiratory depression, coma and death." That might explain why the arresting officers thought Woods was drunk when he was pulled over for driving erratically, even though he wasn't—he blew a .000 on two breathalyzer tests.
