Did Steph Curry mean to fan the flames between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers Friday, when he "liked" a post on Instagram in which LeBron James admitted that his team was "just in a bad spot" after losing five of their last seven games?

Even though the Warriors have fully embraced their role as the "supervillains" in the NBA, this potentially villainous behavior by Curry was purely accidental. Or, at least, that's what Steph wants you to believe.

Steph attempted to clear up the alleged social media faux pas with ESPN's Ethan Sherwood Strauss, calling it a "total accident."

Over the last year, pettiness has been the theme surrounding the Cavaliers and Warriors' drama. While LeBron and the Cavs have been the ones throwing more of the "subtle" jabs in Golden State's direction, it wouldn't be that hard to believe that, for once, Curry would find great joy in Cleveland's arguably lowest point of the 2016-17 campaign. However, Steph is maintaining that he simply double-tapped on a picture highlighting his rival team's struggles by accident.

If Steph and the Warriors were really the supervillains that they claim to be, wouldn't they just own up to their actions? Leave the petty behavior for that other team
