Everyone (except maybe Drake and Big Sean) loves Kendrick Lamar’s new music—including the basketball world.

K. Dot included an NBA reference on his fire new single “The Heart Part IV,” which dropped Thursday night. He compared himself to Russell Westbrook and some unnamed rapper—presumably Drake or Big Sean—to Kevin Durant.

“Tables turned, lesson learned, my best look,” Kendrick raps. “You jumped sides on me, now you ’bout to meet Westbrook/Go celebrate with your team and let victory vouch you/Just know the next game played, I might slap the shit out you/Technical foul, I’m flagrant, I’m foul/They throwin’ me out, you throw in the towel.”

Aggressive, timely, and drama-inducing—what a sequence of bars. The aforementioned Westbrook loves the song, too.

Westbrook is a master of subtle digs at Durant—remember when he showed up to their first matchup wearing an “official photographer” vest? Russ also posted a video of himself vibing out to Lil Uzi Vert’s “Do What I Want” after Durant announced he was leaving this summer.

This is just a little acknowledgement from Russ: Yep, Kevin, I heard the track and liked it. And regardless of your insistence, we do have beef, and I’m intent on settling it.

The Thunder and Warriors played Monday, and the Warriors came out with a 111-95 win. The game included a scuffle involving Stephen Curry and Westbrook. There’s a real rivalry brewing with these two teams. We can only hope they meet in the playoffs.

And oh, by the way: LeBron's feeling the track, too.
