Baltimore Ravens safety Matt Elam was arrested in Miami early Sunday morning. He is facing several charges stemming from possession of marijuana, according to police records.

According to police, Elam was initially pulled over for allegedly driving recklessly around 3:45 a.m. Once police had him stopped, they reportedly found 126 grams of marijuana—more than a quarter of a pound of weed—and three grams of oxycodone in his vehicle.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport shared details of the arrest on Twitter.

The charges Elam faces include possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of cannabis with the intent to sell or deliver, according to Deadspin.

Elam, 25, was a first-round pick in 2013. He will become a free agent in March. The Ravens declined to pick up his option. He played primarily on special teams last season and had four tackles.

Elam is originally from Palm Beach Gardens, which is about an hour from Miami. He played college football at the University of Florida.
