The Minnesota Vikings had a scary moment on Friday when their team plane slid off the runway and got stuck while taxiing after landing in Wisconsin. Shortly after arriving at a snowy Appleton International Airport, the plane started skidding before a tire sank into the grass, according to Vikings safety Anthony Harris.

Since there were no portable stairs on the aircraft, the Vikings' players and coaches remained stuck for upwards of four hours until fire officials arrived with their truck's extension ladder to help get them out two at a time.

Back at the team hotel, the #Vikings are nestled, all snug in their beds.

With the Vikings' game against the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field set for a 1 p.m. ET start time today, the first team bus didn't reach their hotel until around 11:30 p.m. ET last night, per ESPN's Ben Goessling.

If the Vikings fail to show up in Saturday's game, they have a pretty good reason.
