And the feud between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather continues. After weeks of being on the receiving end of Mayweather's verbal assault, McGregor finally fired back on Christmas Eve and the beginning of Hanukkah, of all days.

While McGregor's remark isn't anything earth-shattering, there is something very interesting to take away his Instagram post: Conor is wearing boxing gloves. In November, The Notorious was issued a boxing license in the state of California, which was slammed by Mayweather, who said that he doesn't fight in the Golden State. However, it appears that McGregor is more than willing to step into the ring to face Floyd.

With that being said, it's important to note that as long as McGregor is under contract with the UFC, the company's president Dana Whitewill not allow one of, if not, his biggest draw to compete in another sport. That doesn't mean that White would bet against McGregor if the two were to square off against one another. "Floyd better hope he don't run into Conor on the street," White toldTMZ Sports. "Let me tell you what, not only will Conor kick his ass. He'll kick the shit out of every one of his security guards too. 100 percent. I would love to be there when Floyd tries to slap Conor McGregor."
