Apparently the impetus for this brawl (in addition to alcohol) was an argument over Colin Kaepernick. According to CBS-4 the fight ignited after a guy in a Miami jersey began shouting negative comments about the San Francisco quarterback. The person who recorded the video told them that the Dolphins fan yelled "Go back to New York. Leave, go to another country. You know, take your Muslim quarterback." It remains unclear what the 49ers have to do with New York. The recorder also said "The guy that is throwing the punches in the video, he threw some anti-Semitic remarks to his left to one of the few 49ers fans."
The Dolphins used crowd-sourced video to pinpoint the fans involved, and consequently a pair of Dolphins season ticket holders have been banned from the stadium. The team also released a statement that said "We conducted an immediate internal review of the situation and have identified the season ticket members who were involved in the incident. We work hard to remind fans that we want this to be a safe environment and this type of behavior and conduct is not acceptable."

Another week of NFL action, another ridiculous fight among rival fans. On Sunday, as the San Francisco 49ers staged a dramatic comeback attempt after being down 31-14 against the Miami Dolphins in the 4th quarter, a brawl broke out between—wait for it—Dolphins and 49ers fans.
As two probably possibly drunk 'Phins fans started, according to the video uploader, picking on "a couple guys," they focused their attention on another person who clearly missed out on tickets to the Steelers/Dolphins in late October. The Steelers fan, who was feeling himself off the strength of his struggle 'stash, got jabbed in the face by what appears to be a beer bottle, which is quite the poetic turn of events. That's when things really got out of hand.
After taking a quick break to sit down, the bottle-wielding Dolphins fan came storming out of the penalty box with a vengeance, throwing haymakers toward a 49ers fan as a woman holding a possibly sleeping child on her shoulder was a few feet away.
Then, the obligatory "Worldstar" shout out occurred, and both sides were separated. As if nothing was going on right before his eyes, Yung Phil Simms came through with some analysis of the Dolphins' offense, wondering aloud, "Why are we throwing the ball?" Better question: Why are these Dolphins fans throwing punches with a kid so close by?
