LeBron James pulled hard for the Indians during their 2016 playoff run, most notably going completely ballistic after a two-run Rajai Davis home run tied up Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday night:

But as you hopefully know by now, LeBron was unable to will Cleveland to a win. The Cubs won that game 8-7 to win their first World Series in 108 years, and because of that, the city of Chicago honored them with a parade on Friday. Millions of Cubs fans showed up for it, and celebrity fan CM Punk was one of the many in attendance:

While there, Punk made a brief TV appearance, and during it, he called LeBron out for the unforgivable transgression of previously wearing a Yankees hat to Cleveland's Progressive Field to cheer against the very team he's been rooting for this postseason. "Let's talk about LeBron James for a second here," Punk said. "He's a guy who was criticized because, maybe six months ago, he's at an Indians game and he's wearing a New York Yankees hat. Proudly! Takes it off his head and he shows everybody. Like, I don't know what he's thinking."

It's a fair point and a point that others have made in the past. But do you know who that kinds of sounds like? John Cuask, who just so happened to be sitting right next to Punk when he ripped LeBron on Comcast SportsNet. Cusack was once spotted wearing a White Sox hat at Game 2 of the 2005 World Series. He's also claimed a dual allegiance to both Chicago baseball teams.

Cusack was spared from Punk's critique of famous frontrunners—which is probably because he didn't realize Cusack has rooted for a team other than the Cubs—but it's coincidence that he chose to go after LeBron with Cusack right next to him.

As for LeBron, he hasn't responded to those who have criticized him for rooting for the Indians despite his allegiance to the Yankees. He even went as far as to give this message to the Indians following the final out of Game 7:

Seems he'll get criticized no matter what he does.
