On Saturday night, Brooke Hogan talked to TMZ SportsAnd though she spoke for not even close to ten seconds, she said something that was awfully interesting for just a single quote. Asked by the random camera-guy about whether her dad, (duh) Hulk Hogan, would ever return to the WWE, she said, "I'll just say I know that people have been calling him for WrestleMania." What that means is unfortunately unclear.

As you probably remember, Hulk was banished from the WWE in July of 2015 after a pair of media outlets published a rant, made on his controversial sex tape, of him saying the N-word multiple times. Hogan was heard stating his aversion to Brooke dating a black dude to the woman on the tape. The day before the audio was transcribed, and in an attempt to get out in front of the news cycle, the WWE removed almost all references to Hulk from their website, including merchandise at their WWE Shop, as well as his Hall of Fame page. They also released a statement saying, in part, that they were "Committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds."

It's not clear what has changed between now and then (or, frankly, if Brooke's quote is even true) but WWE senior executive Triple H previously stated that he had hoped to see Hogan make a return to the promotion someday. WrestleMania 33 will take place in Orlando, Florida on April 2, 2017. Get your hopes/disappointment about Hulk returning up or down based upon a single quote by his daughter during an impromptu interview at your own risk.
