Cornerback Justin Gilbert can go down as yet another first-round pick that didn't quite go as planned for the Cleveland Browns, which is simply to say that he was a first-round pick for the Cleveland Browns. After getting taken with the eighth overall choice in 2014, he spent two seasons in Ohio before his tenure there came to an inelegant close after he struggled to make meetings, and told local reporters that it was due to him being a "hard sleeper." Later that year he was traded to the Steelers for a 2018 sixth-round pick. Yeah, that sounds about right.

Now, still only 24-years-old—and still probably pretty damn talented—Gilbert has found a way to correct his sleeping problem by going completely overboard and setting 10 freakin' alarms just to roll his ass out of bed in the morning. Gilbert told ESPN that he sets 10 daily alarms on his iPhone in order to get up for special teams meetings at 8:20 a.m. The first alarm comes at 5:45, the second at 6, then 6:07, then there are still seven more to freaking go. Gilbert, like a lot of stars to come out of college, says he didn't have to wake up nearly as early at Oklahoma State and the NFL way of life is "[S]omething I had to get used to."

Regarding the Steelers not sending a staffer to check on him every morning, he further stated, "They treat me like a grown man. I’m a grown man now. So I have to take responsibility. It feels normal." (Hmmm we wonder why the Browns would feel they have to treat their players like kids?)

Oh well, could be worse Clevelanders. At least you still got the Cavs and Indians.
