Bulls fans are happy to have Dwyane Wade on their roster this season, but how much better would it have been if Wade signed with the Bulls back in 2010—and brought LeBron James with him? In the past, both Wade and LeBron have talked about how they seriously considered signing with Chicago when they became free agents in the summer of 2010, just before ultimately signing with the Heat. But after practice on Thursday, Wade reminded the Bulls’ faithful about just how close they actually came to being Bulls before Pat Riley stepped in and told them that he could bring Chris Bosh into the mix as well, which helped seal the deal for Miami.

Here’s what Wade said on Thursday, according to Vincent Goodwill of CSN Chicago:

Wade said Chicago was a top option in 2010 but Chris Bosh changed things for he and LeBron. Said as a basketball fit Miami made sense

Damn. This still has to sting for all of the Bulls fans out there. Wade in 2016 is nice and all, but Wade and LeBron in 2010? That could have been special.
