The much-hyped Nike-branded Apple watch has finally arrived. The Apple Watch Nike+ hits Apple.com, Nike.com, Apple stores, and select Nike retail stores across Canada today.
Announced back in September, the new Apple Watch Nike+ is a special hybrid of the Apple Watch Series 2 packed with different Nike watch faces and featuring a lightweight, breathable watch band.
Just like with the Apple Watch Series 2 models that are already available in stores, the Nike-branded watch features a brighter display and built-in GPS so you can track your pace, distance, and route - even if you don’t actually have your iPhone with you. The watch is also water resistant up to 50 metres meaning you can use it for swimming and triathlon events.
Of course, the sporty watch comes pre-loaded with the just-updated Nike+ Run Club app, which offers unrivaled motivation for runners of all levels with customizable coaching plans, scheduling options, as well as the option to compete with friends and family. The Nike+ Run Club app is free and works with any version of the Apple Watch.
The Apple Watch Nike+ is available in two different aluminum case sizes, 38 mm ($489 CA) and 42 mm ($529 CA) and pairs with four different sport band colour combinations: Black/Volt, Black/Cool Gray, Flat Silver/White and Flat Silver/Volt.
