Adrien Broner’s friends are reportedly worried about him and have contacted police after the boxer posted a series of social media messages on Wednesday that appear to allude to suicide. According to TMZ Sports, one of Broner’s close friends reached out to police after he posted a cryptic message on Instagram at around 12 p.m. that said, "3PM I’m doing it I’m sorry to my family and friends but I don’t want to be here no more this shit too much."
About an hour later, Broner put up another Instagram post that featured a photo of a gun and the words, "I’m going home I love y’all."
He then followed that post up with this at around 2:35 p.m.:
Broner's posts have sparked a strong reaction on social media, where many of his fans and followers have urged him to seek help.
