What would be a college football season without excessive celebrations on campus from big wins? In fact, squeezing in a theater for the entire team to participate in at practice makes the teams more fun to watch on social media, and makes people want to follow their Saturday games.

Such is the case for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, who routed Stephen F. Austin 69-17 for their season opener over the weekend. After the Red Raiders finished their practice routine Monday, they decided to have some Labor Day fun by having their own version of WWE Monday Night Raw, which was scheduled to air later that evening.

Texas Tech assistant coaches Adam Hymel and Scott Salwasswer and impersonated WWE stars John Cena and Miz, respectively, and the football team created a large makeshift-gated ring for the two to square off in a wrestling match.

The two-minute-plus clip above shows Hymel enter from the stands down onto the field with a spot-on Cena look, dressed in black Speedos and black knee high socks to match while 2Pac and Dr. Dre's "California Love" blaring in the background. Hymel gives an introductory speech via megaphone in which he bellows out quips to the team like, "Listen guys, I'm an A-list superstar. I'm used to a sold-out Rose Bowl, a sold-out Levi Stadium, and L.A. Coliseum!" as the team ad-libs "What!" in between each location mentioned.

Miz comes follows up with his own entrance into the faux-ring, and the match gets going. The wrestling moves look appear to be in good fun and are reminiscent of backyard wrestling's popularity during the early 2000s. But the body-slam that channels Miz dropping Cena into the table is classic material.
