From winning his first NBA title to appearing on the red carpet at the ESPYs to being featured in Kanye West’s "Fade" video alongside his fiancée Teyana Taylor, Iman Shumpert has had one hell of a summer. But unfortunately, it sounds like it hasn’t been all fun and games for the Cavaliers forward.

According to a statement released by the Cavs on Friday morning, Shumpert was arrested back in early August for suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop. Police in Fayette County, Ga. reportedly pulled Shumpert over for a lane violation on August 10 before placing him under arrest. The Cavs didn’t go into any great detail in their statement, but they did reveal that they have spoken with Shumpert about the incident. Here is the full statement released by the team:

Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert was arrested by Fayette County (GA) Police outside Atlanta for suspicion of DUI following an August 10th traffic stop for a lane violation. The Cavaliers have discussed the situation with Iman and will monitor the progression of the pending case. A court date has not been set at this point, and neither Iman or the team will have any additional comments while the matter progresses through the legal process.

As the statement said, the Cavaliers and Shumpert aren't going to comment on the situation, but TMZ Sports has already dug up a mug shot stemming from the arrest:

TMZ Sports has also obtained some details about the arrest from a police report, and they are reporting that Shumpert was allegedly under the influence of marijuana while driving. Police reportedly found a mason jar filled with weed during their investigation of Shumpert's vehicle, and according to the report, he admitted to using marijuana prior to being pulled over.
