Is J.R. Smith staying with the Cleveland Cavaliers or heading elsewhere? With the 2016-17 season nearly two months away, both sides appear to be at an impasse with Smith reportedly looking for $15 million per year in his new deal, and the Cavaliers already having $117 million on the books for next season.

Before heading out to his 10th Annual J.R. Smith Youth Foundation Golf Outing in Lakewood, N.J. this past Thursday, Swish shared a short video on Uninterrupted, a multimedia site owned by James. In addition to thanking those people who have and continue to support his foundation, J.R. delivered a message to the "media guys" who want to ask him about his current contract situation. "You got my agent's number, so y'all can call him," Smith said.

Since winning his first NBA championship, Smith has been riding high all summer. No pun intended. He caused mass hysteria with reporters when he showed up everywhere with his teammates without a shirt. When the team made a brief stop in Las Vegas to celebrate at XS Nightclub, Swish reportedly sprayed $23,000 worth of champagne. Then, earlier this month, Smith married to his longtime girlfriend Jewel Harris, capping off what he referred to as getting "two rings in one year."

Now, the icing on this metaphorical cake would be a nice, possibly lucrative long-term contract to give his family some financial security for years to come. The ball's in your court, Cavaliers front office.
